Out of Hours and Emergencies
For health information and advice, or if you need medical help fast when we are closed, call NHS 111. NHS 111 is the number to call when you need medical help fast but it’s not a life threatening emergency.
In life threatening emergencies such as chest pain and severe shortness of breath you should call 999
Extended Opening Times
Extended Opening is provided within our own Practice Mondays and Thursday 6.30pm to 8pm as from 1st October 2022 (currently only Monday evenings).
The service will provide a mixture of face to face consultations by GPs and other healthcare professionals. You may also be offered the opportunity to attend Alderwood Medical Practice, Longford Road, Cannock (Cannock Primary Care Network hub) during Saturday and Sunday.
The appointments available will be for routine monitoring (not blood testing) and minor ailments, they will be a mixture of face to face and telephone appointments and will be bookable via the Practice.
Bookings for extended appointments can be made by calling your practice or 111.
